Michelle started with The NJ ECC in 2019 as the Program Director of the new Ramsey location. Within two years, Michelle was promoted to Vice President of Program Development, where she now oversees all four day programs.
She graduated from William Paterson University in 2007 and has been working with the special needs community ever since. Michelle gained her ABA knowledge on-the-job. She began her career working in the Ridgewood school district in a middle school ABA classroom. Michelle continued to the Maywood school district, working in multiple classrooms ranging from ABA preschool through the fourth grade. She has also worked in home settings as a one-to-one, working on life and leisure skills, fitness, and time management. She has learned and used several effective ABA strategies that she has implemented at the NJ ECC. Michelle became a Registered Behavior Technician in July 2020. Michelle continued her education journey in October 2023, where she has just earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Michelle is currently preparing to take the test to become board certified. She is an active member of the Clinical team, seeing clients both in the program and in the community.
Michelle also oversees our Supported Employment program, where she helps find jobs for clients in the community.
Michelle is thankful for the opportunity to lead the inspiring individuals of her program and is looking forward to growing along with the NJ ECC!
